Snow has me very bored!

I have been in the house a lot, the ground is covered with white snow. I love playing in it but daddy says it is too cold to be out long. So here is what I am doing to keep busy.

My very first Haircut!

I was not very happy when mommy and daddy decided it was time to cut my hair. Mommy said I looked like shaggy the puppy, but I don't like people messing with my hair! I was very mad! It got a little better when the bribed me with a marshmellow, I just let them have their way.

If mommy and daddy would let me I would eat it three meals a day along with applesauce!

Emptying out Pig!

Mommy and Daddy taught me that all money goes in my Piggy Bank named Pig. If I find something I am to go put it there. I love this game so much that I know all the good places to find coins... Under the cushions where daddy sits after work, in mommy purse, near the washing machine. I am pretty good at finding the goodies too!

So Pig is full! Mommy said it is only 9 months I have been playing this game...and I am a mercenary....whatever that means! So it is time to open a savings account but first we have to count the money!

Mommy told me we counted $107.56 in Pig! When the snow goes away we will open my first savings account, and I am already filling Pig back up!

Playing with Friends!

I had a great time playing with my friend D. We had lots of fun coloring and running around, and the strong competition for the bike eventually made mommy put it away. Overall it was a really fun day!

Sunny Winter Days

Yesterday was so much fun. Mommy and Daddy took me to the park. I played on the slide and climbed much higher than I could last year. Mommy forgot the camera but it was a fun time I won't forget!. I really wish it would be warm everyday. Daddy doesn't, he loves the cold. I played in the sunshine until my face was red and my nose was running! I hope it gets warm again soon so I can go play again.

A littl more Christmas!

I really had so much fun this Christmas. I didn't know you wake up and find presents under the tree. I was not really concerned with the presents I just wanted mommy and daddy to turn on the lights. I have made sure that has become an every morning ritual! They are just so pretty!

But I walked in and found some great goodies from Santa, Grandma, Grandpa, and Auntie Jen.

A Christmas Present

Today I got a lot of great gifts from Mommy and Daddy. Apparently that Santa Claus guy showed up too - I'm just glad I didn't have to sit on his lap again. Mommy and Daddy seemed a little too excited about this one t-shirt. They insisted that I post a picture of me wearing it...


They were also talking a lot about a baby. They showed me this picture. I gotta admit, I don't see a baby anywhere...

Spending time with friends!

We made Christmas cookies with special friends today. It was so much fun! We had a good time playing together too. When we were finished we gave each other presents we had wrapped for each other. Thanks for having us over today.

Making Special Gifts

I am having a great Christmas week! Mommy and daddy keep telling me Santa Claus is coming this week, if he is that big scary guy who make me sit on his lap, he can stay home. Mommy has kept me busy with fun activities this week. Here I am making special gifts for Daddy with my friends. I liked doing it all myself!

It snowed today... A LOT!

Today it snowed a whole lot. I begged mommy and daddy to go out in it from the time I woke to see it all! I was allowed to go out twice today, but they had to drag me back in. I was sooooo mad!

My friends threw me a birthday party today. We had Elmo plates and a blue cake. I was a little nervous with everyone watching me, but once I blew out the candles and got to taste it, I was in icing heaven!

Lights!

So mommy and daddy didn't think I was so helpful while putting up Christmas lights, but I had a good time. I would rather stretch them around the house, that tree is awful prickly!

O Christmas Tree!

We had so much fun today. I helped Daddy pick a Christmas tree. The weather was actually not so cold and we took our time studying each one in the field. When we finally all agreed on the same tree I "helped" Daddy cut it down. It is very very tall, and smells really good. I can't wait to put the lights on it.

Tomorrow we are going to decorate it before Miss Meg & Mr Brian come with Rebecca for dinner. I can't wait!

Opening Presents on My 2nd Birthday!

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa! I love my farm! The tractor is my favorite and I love to carry the barn around. I miss you and say goodnight to your picture every night.

Dear Auntie Jen,

Thank you so much for my birthday presents. Here I am playing with Scout. He sings to me and says my name, I love him very much. Puppies are my favorite! The letters game you sent looks just like my Daddy's computer keyboard so I know what to do with that! Mommy was surprised I know the letter R, W, U, S, and T.

It snowed on my birthday!

Mommy had me put on a heavy snowsuit and my favorite boots. When we went outside, the snow was cold even with my snowsuit on. Mommy, Daddy, and I built a snowman.

Mommy tried to start a snowball fight, but my heart wasn't in it.

Mommy found some pictures of me today. I liked Santa just as much last year, as I do this year!

Went to see Santa on Saturday

Daddy got me dressed and we went to see Santa. What is so special about that big scary man?! I was not at all interested, although he did make me laugh one time. I really like the Candy Cane the best. Mommy never lets me have those kind of treats!
